•  What is the message of Ezekiel?

Conviction: So What?

•  Where does this fit?

- Ezekiel reminds us of the consequences of sin, the comprehensive nature of God’s justice and the certainty of His plan to bless the world through Jesus the Messiah.

- Ezekiel reminds us of the importance of God’s presence.

- Ezekiel sets our hopes on the Glory of God which will be fully revealed in the future.

What should we believe?

- The Lord Himself will finish His Promise Plan.

- The Lord will never leave us or forsake us, although we may forsake Him.

- The Lord is committed to discipline, cleanse and ultimately bless His people.

- The Lord is sovereign, with complete control over human history, which He is moving toward                 His ultimate goal.  Therefore, there is always hope.

How should we behave?

- Maintain fellowship with The Lord through faithful obedience and focused worship.

- Maintain hope in the Lord by taking your eyes off of yourself and keeping them focused on Jesus who is our ultimate hope.

- Be amazed by the glory of God!

Next Steps
•  Take the long range view of life. Be patient in the midst of discipline while waiting for the realization of hope.

•  Meditate on the reality that God wants to be present with you more than you want to be present with Him.

•  Talk about the fact that the best is yet to come in our relationship with the Lord.
