Being Secure in God’s Demonstrated Love

•   Reconciled

Being justified through faith in Jesus we have an
assured hope that does not disappoint.

Next Steps
•  I will turn any suffering I experience this week into an opportunity to praise God for the assured future we have in Him that excludes sin and suffering.
•  I will take the week reading through the Growth Guide to be reminded of the eternal security that comes through being justified through faith in Jesus.

Home Church
Our Home Churches meet weekly to facilitate quicker relational depth, study the same passage taught Sunday to help apply Scripture in the context of community, and pray with one another.  Home Church helps our body seek God’s best for one another.

Home Church Questions

•  Read Romans 5:1-11.
•  When you think about the word “peace” and the year 2020, what comes to mind?
•  This week, how can you work towards living out the reality of Jesus ushering us into a permanent state of grace?
•  Tell of a time, looking back, you can see the process of suffering, perseverance, proven character, and hope growing your faith.
• Do you struggle with believing your eternity is secure in Christ’s redemptive work? What makes it difficult? How do the verses in Romans 5:6-11 help provide assurance if we have put our faith in Jesus?
•  Being justified through faith in Jesus, provides what Paul calls a “hope that doesn’t disappoint.”  How should this truth change how we go about our lives as we enter a new week?

OCC - Today is the day!
Today is the day – we are officially launching the 2020 Operation Christmas Child collection season! Today you can start picking up your wrapped shoeboxes, today you can start packing, today you can start praying, today you can start signing up to work in our Central Drop Off, today is the day you can start recruiting your family, neighbors and co-workers to fill boxes. Today is the day and this is the opportunity that God has prepared in advance for us. Filled boxes need to be turned in during National Collection Week November 16-23.  As we charge forward toward our goal of 6,001 shoeboxes, “Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” Hebrews 10:24.

Generations update
Fellowship we are in the home stretch of our 3-year building campaign. What a blessing the new addition and remodel has been! We are asking everyone to be part in seeing the remaining $150,000 come in by February 1, 2021 which is when permanent financing begins (about 14 weeks away). Would you consider how you could help make that goal a reality between now and February? Whether you have fulfilled your commitment, in the process of doing so, or are just now realizing we are coming off an important building project, we can all pitch in to see Fellowship set up for a great future. Go to Fellowshipconway.org/give and select Generations to give to the campaign.
