•  "What" is said and "How" it is said

•  The Purpose of the Book of Ruth

"And It Just So Happened That One Day . . . " (2:1-3)
The sovereignty of God puts us in the right place at the right time.

•  Boaz: A Man with a Reputation

•  Ruth: A Woman with a Past

"Who Is That Girl In The Corner Of My Field?" (2:4-9)
God often makes abundant provision in surprising and unexpected ways.

•  Boaz: A Man with a Plan

•  Ruth: A Woman with a Work Ethic

“Why Have I Found Favor in Your Eyes” (2:10-16)
Consistent character results in respect, honor, and blessing.

•  Boaz: A Man with Discernment

•  Ruth: A Woman with Humility

“His Name is Boaz"  (2:17-23)
God is always at work behind the scenes making provision and advancing His plan.

•  Ruth: A Woman with Integrity

•  Naomi: A Woman with Vision

God providentially protects and guides His chosen people
as they take initiative and seek to bless others.

Next Steps
•
Reorient your Bible reading to make the Story of God central instead of your story.

•  Evaluate the relationships in your life and highlight areas where you need to live with "more" integrity.

•  What is God up to in your life?  Where is He taking you?  What is His hope for you in the next year?  How can you cooperate?

This Week’s Growth Guide
God’s Word is both central and critical to your spiritual growth. We invite you to utilize the Growth Guide during the week to further your application of the Truth from the message.

College Move-in
UCA move-in day is Saturday, August 20th, and we are looking for people able to serve
|during a morning shift (8-12) or an afternoon shift (1-5).

During each time slot, we will be serving water and refreshments to the families and helping the students unload their belongings into their new home.
Both are great ways to show how Fellowship loves them and may open an avenue to the Gospel.
If you can serve or want more info, please text the word “MOVE”
to 501-434-4449 and follow the prompts.

Come experience Downline this fall!
“Deciding to do Downline was a decision that has changed my life forever. Coming into the first week, I had no clue what to expect, but I knew it was something special after that first class. Downline has done something for me that no person or program has been able to do. It has genuinely unlocked the Bible for me. My understanding of the Bible and how you read, study, interpret scripture, apply it in everyday life, and teach others the same has forever been impacted. Every lesson is taught with passion and fervor to equip us to do the work of the ministry. Whether you are vocationally in church or not, I encourage everyone to check out Downline and see how God will challenge you.”  Jordan Vaughan

Save the Date!
The Women’s Ministry will be spending a weekend together at Shepherd of the Ozarks, September 23-25.  Mark you calendars and join us!
