Dark Days and Darker Days (1:1-5)
It is not unusual for God's people to encounter difficult times.

A Light at the End of the Tunnel (
1:6-13)
Changing circumstances provides believers with important choices.

A Crucial Choice is Made (
1:14-18)
The choice to be faithful in a relationship
can have far-reaching significance.

You Can Call Me "Mara"  (1:19-22)
Your view of God effects your view of the world.
God is sovereign but He is also good.

In the midst of hardship and difficulty
our choices and view of God have an impact on our future.

Next Steps
•  Write out your view of God's involvement in your life.  What attributes are central to how you view Him?
•  If you could replace your given name with a name that reflected how God has been involved in your life what would that name be?  Be a little more thoughtful and creative then, "Blessed".
•  In what way has God used dark days to help you grow and advance His purposes in your life?

This Week’s Growth Guide
God’s Word is both central and critical to your spiritual growth. We invite you to utilize the Growth Guide during the week to further your application of the Truth from the message.
