The Appeal and Conditions
The benefits of wisdom come when you prioritize seeking it
with constant pursuit and rigid discipline.
(2:1-4)

Benefit # 1: Knowledge of God and His Protection
Those who fully embrace wisdom know God and His protection.
(2:5-8)

Benefit # 2: Moral Discernment
Those who fully embrace wisdom have skills for living well.
(2:9-11)

Benefit # 3: Protection from Evil Men
Those who fully embrace wisdom are protected from perverse influences.
(2:12-15)

Benefit # 4: Protection from Evil Women
Those who fully embrace wisdom are protected from seductive influences.
(2:16-19)

Benefit # 5: Enablement for Righteous Living
Those who fully embrace wisdom will be blessed on the path of life.
(2:20-22)

Passionately pursue wisdom, 
and the knowledge and blessings of God will be yours.

•  What kind of discipline is really needed to passionately pursue something you really desire?  What do you pursue with passion?
•  What does it mean to “know God” in the context of wise living?
•  How has knowing God protected you?  Have you ever stepped outside of God’s protection?
•  How would you distinguish between “evil men” (Ken labeled them “perverse”) and “evil women” (Ken labeled them “seductive”)?
•  Verse 9 repeats “right” and “just” and “fair” from 1:3.  Why are these relational terms important for wise living?
