Peaceful Living in Anxious Times
Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice Always
There is always a reason to rejoice in Jesus.
(4:4)

Be Gentle to Everyone
Being gentle instead of retaliating reflects
Jesus to the world around us.
(4:5)

Pray About Everything
A consistent prayer life with thanksgiving,
will transform anxious living.
(4:6-7)

The God of Peace is with us, wanting us to experience
the peace of God this Advent!

Next Steps
Identify your areas of anxiousness and pray daily over each one.
• Proactively sign up for an equipping class that prepares you in an area about which you are anxious.
• Have someone walk alongside you to discuss, encourage, and pray with you.

This Week’s Growth Guide

God’s Word is both central and critical to your spiritual growth. We invite you to utilize the Growth Guide during the week to further your application of the Truth from the message.

• Monday - Matthew 6:25-34
• Tuesday - Colossians 3:12-17
• Wednesday - Galatians 5:22-26
• Thursday - Colossians 4:2-6
• Friday - Luke 12:22-34

Home Church
Our Home Churches meet weekly to facilitate quicker relational depth, study the same passage taught
Sunday to help apply Scripture in the context of community, and pray with one another.  Home Church helps our body seek God’s best for one another.

Home Church Questions
•  Anything new from this morning’s message?
•  What are the top two things that bring stress and anxiousness to your life? How have you been coping? How has that worked out?
•  How have you helped someone experiencing a stressful situation or time in their life?  What advice did you     give?
•  Why is prayer critical to peace?
•  What is your prayer to concern ratio? How has that been working for you?
•  Which equipping class sticks out to you as an area you need to invest in? What prevents you from signing up?
•  Who in your life needs to hear Philippians 4:6-7 this Advent season?
•  What changes are you willing to make in order to have peace instead of anxiousness?

AT FELLOWSHIP

Angel Tree - Bethlehem House • Haven House • The Call • Christmas Boot Drive
Invest in our local community by grabbing an ornament off the Angel Tree in the Atrium. We are supporting four ministries in their efforts to outfit beds for the homeless, provide gifts for families in need, and serving families that are fostering. Grab an ornament TODAY! Return your gift next Sunday, December 15.

Christmas Eve - December 24
Invite someone to attend and experience Christmas at Fellowship at one of our Candlelight Christmas Eve services at 4:00 or 6:00 pm.

Christmas Offering
Christmas is a time where we take a special offering to invest locally here at Fellowship and in our community. This year we are investing in the families of Fellowship with a pavilion for the playground for protection from the sun as they enjoy time with family and friends. In addition, we will also be collecting money to be invested locally in the name of Jesus. Throughout the year, many of our ministry partners have unexpected needs they ask churches to help with. These funds will be distributed as needs arise.  This special offering will be collected Sunday, December 22nd, during both services.

Widows’ Christmas Luncheon
Fellowship will be honoring our widows with a Christmas Luncheon. The luncheon will be Tuesday, December 10, 12:00 p.m. at 3680 Gresham (home of Ambra Austin). For more information or to RSVP,
call 501-730-6795.

Ministry Center Warming Center | January 12-18
Fellowship once again has the opportunity to minister to Faulkner County’s homeless population in partnership with the Ministry Center. We will do this by providing a meal every evening, as well as have two women and two men spend the night with those who are taking shelter during the night. Christmas boot drive
The Christmas Boot Drive provides Christmas for children whose families find themselves in a tough spot. Fellowship gets to help deliver the gifts to the families on December 18th. Interested in helping with delivery, please contact Michael at (501) 339-4222.

International Friendship Outreach
